Tips

Tip: Don’t choose easy domain names such as ‘store.com‘ because these domain names will most likely be already taken.

Tip: Some domain names may look like they are taken when you visit them from a browser but they can be available. However, if you find a proper website upon visiting the domain name then this confirms that the domain name is taken.

Tip: Adding ‘www‘ before a domain name doesn’t make it a different domain name.

Tip: Changing the extension of the domain name (ex: changing from “.com” to “.org”) gives you a different domain name.

Tip: You can use a dash ( – ) in a domain name.

Tip: The only dot you can use in a domain name when you’re registering it is the dot directly before the extension (ex: .com).
