We will talk about the HP ZBook 14u G5 and the HP EliteBook 840 G4
Some people are asking which ones we recommend, these two are business PCs they can be for corporate and office use, and you can also use them for school, if you’re a student we would recommend that you’d use one of them.
HP Zbook 14u G5, this PC is coupled with a lot of ports, which makes it easier for you to work with because you’re not limited to what you can connect, it has almost all the ports you may need, a SIM card slot for connecting 3G and 4G connections, an audio jack for headphones and AUX cables, a USB port, an HDMI port for TV connections, ethernet port, serial dock port, and type C thunderbolt port for charging and data transfer.
HP Elitebook 840 G4, almost the same thing with some differences, it has a USB for data transfer and to charge other devices, a D port that transfers sound and video, a jack for headphones, ethernet port, SIM card slot, dock, and a power port.
So, the first has HDMI, the second has a D port, the first you can charge it with the thunderbolt USB C, the second you can’t charge it with the thunderbolt, the first you can display with it, the second you can display with it too. EliteBook also has a VGA port, people don’t use it anymore but it’s still useful.
They both have 14 inches screens. The EliteBook has a Core i5 7th generation, 8GB RAM, 500 GB HDD, Win 10 Pro 64-bit. The ZBook has a Core i7 8th generation (so it’s better) 8GB RAM, 500 GB SSD (so it’s faster), Win 10 Pro 64-bit.
They both have cameras and microphones of course, but the ZBook also has an infrared sensor, which lets you unlock it with your face to look like a boss. Both have a sensor for fingerprints to unlock them, but the ZBook’s sensor is better. The ZBook is heavier than the Elitebook because it takes steroids, and it’s made of metal, whereas the EliteBook is made of plastic.
